At Nature's Pace PMQ is not a typical fitness and personal training company. We do things differently as we focus on training the mind, body and soul holistically. The aim is to have a healthy mind and body. Good mental and physical health can only be achieved through physical activity, good nutrition, and mindfulness in our daily lives. The primary focus of At Nature's Pace PMQ is to help our clients be happy, healthy and mentally and physically well.
With years of fitness experience and navigating the path to good mental and physical health, the owner and founder of At Nature's Pace PMQ, Emily Barber, is dedicated to helping you reach your physical and mental health goals through personal training, group fitness classes and mindfulness training. This also includes healthy eating and nutrition education to ensure the best results for our clients. We will work with you to keep you on track and motivated to reach your goals.
We understand that adopting new daily habits is difficult and At Nature's Pace PMQ is there to support you on this journey. Our goal is to change your view on healthy living, so that it becomes a part of who you are and your lifestyle. We strongly believe that if you practice healthy habits, you will be able to live the life that you want and feel good both mentally and physically.

Pre-Teen and Teen Camps
Camps for pre-teen and early teen girls! These camps are focused on holistic health including a fitness session, mindfulness activities and a cooking class aimed at giving the girls skills to cook healthy and easy to prepare meals. Exercise is a very important aspect of improving Mental Health, especially for those suffering from depression, anxiety or PTSD. At Nature's Pace PMQ focuses on improving the mental health of its clients through exercise and mindfulness activities. Clients who have a mental health plan from their GP can receive significant discounts on At Nature's Pace PMQ services.
Isolation & loneliness can potentially cause and exacerbate mental illness.
As humans, we're inherently social animals and even those who identify as introverts gain value from interactions with others.
A mental health condition can often be a catalyst for greater separation & isolation from others when we need them most.
Involvement in physical activity can reduce social isolation & potentially allow individuals experiencing mental health conditions to interact with more people, generating social networks & connections e.g. by playing team sports, joining walk groups etc. At Nature's Pace PMQ can help provide clients with the human connection which is vital to good physical & mental health. We can also put you in contact with other organisations in the region who help build social connections with others in the community.

At Nature's Pace PMQ is passionate about supporting stroke survivors. The owner and founder of At Nature's Pace PMQ had a stroke at 47 despite being active and eating well and in a healthy manner. Therefore, At Nature's Pace PMQ would like to assist other stroke survivors learn and implement healthy lifestyle behaviours. Survivors of a stroke will be supported by At Nature's Pace to help them develop and maintain an active lifestyle to support their other medical treatments. Special rates for stroke survivors are available.
